Okay so remember how I told you about the 50% off sale that was going on at that one shop I went to yesterday? Well I couldn't just let that deal pass by without picking up some more games right? So today I was going to have to be in that area again because I was going to pick up my girlfriend from work, which is actually that non-game store that we went to yesterday, anyway I was going to be in the area. So, like any normal person with an obsession, I went back and picked up games that I needed and I wanted to get games that would end up being around 100 to 150 yen after the discount. So that was the plan and this is the breakdown of what I ended up getting:

Ugh! just look at that ugly, long, blue Tamagotchi game, that isn't going to fit in my coin sleeve page organization method. Your killing me Blue! I know there is one other game that has this same format but the name of it is escaping me at the moment, something family or something, anyway screw that game too.
Lets see then there was:

Shikakui Atama o Maru Kusuru: Joushiki no Ka (ahh! education games, save me!)

So in total I got 11 games at that shop and the average price per game was about 152 yen, it would have been less but Masakari Densetsu was 445 yen after the discount so that brought up the average. Still pretty on point with my goal going in so I'm happy. Overall there is nothing really special or exciting to me here just some games I didn't have.
So after meeting up with my girlfriend we were heading back to my place for the weekend but first she wanted to stop at one of the game stores on the way to sell a bunch of things she no longer wanted after doing some cleaning at her place. Don't worry no games just old books, key chains little things like that. I should clarify that this game store sells mostly books but also toys and games and some random stuff basically an all purpose recycle shop. Anyway while we were there I picked up two more games cuz... I cant help myself.
I got:
Super Momotarou Dentetsu
Doraemon no Game Boy de Asobouyo: Deluxe 10
Both were only 108 yen so meh, again nothing special here. I also found a red Gameboy Pocket, the red GB Pocket has a special place in my heart because it was the second Gameboy I owned as a kid, the first being a gray DMG model. This one was nice because it had the battery indicator light that was not on the first model pockets released in Japan, not sure if that was the case in the States too but I know my original pocket from back in the day had the indicator light as well.
Anyway even with all that, the indicator and it being the red one, I was going to pass on it because it was 1550 yen. Remember that's roughly $15 and I felt that was not outrageous but still made me think "ehhhhh". However my girlfriend was like "just get it, just buy it, come on you know you want it, you don't see it often" so I broke down and got it. Man she's and enabler eh? Gotta love her though. I ended up using my points from my point card at this shop too and was able to save 520 yen so really it only cost me 1030 yen. Not too bad.
