Well I am still setting this blog up, getting the colors, backgrounds, headers etc. all figured out but I just had a pretty big pick up of games that I thought I should mention because, I mean that's the whole point right? Anyway I got the games when I was away from my place for a few days and I totally forgot to take photos before I stored them in my binder. I will prolly do a page just for storing Gameboy games as I have experimented with a few different styles and methods. Anyway again sorry for the lack of photos but here is the list of new games to add to my list. Which I will also update on the "List" page.
So I was out shopping and one of the stores that I often visit, one from my beat if you will, had got some new GB games and the nice thing was that they were all priced at 108 yen, best way to think about it is 100 yen = 1 dollar, not technically correct but a good approximation. There wasn't anything too special but just games that I didn't have/ needed. The games were:
Bakenou V3
Doraemon: Taiketsu Himitsu Dogu!!
Double Yakuman II
DX Bakenou Z
Itsudemo! Nyan to Wonderful
J. League Winning Goal
Katsuba Yosou Keiba Kizoku
Nekketsu Koukou Dodge Ball-Bu (I already had this game but this one looked nicer)
Peke to Poko no Daruman Busters
Prikura Pocket
Sanrio Uranai Party
Soccer Boy
Twin-Bee Da! (Another one I had but got for the upgrade in condition)
Zen Nippon Pro Wrestling
A few days later, still had not been back home yet, I was at another store and picked up some more games for 198 yen each. They were:
Gekitou Power Modeler
Ishido: The Way of Stones
Sakigake!! Otokojuku: Meikoushima Kessen
Taikyoku Renju
Umi no Nushi Tsuri 2 (with the box)
Okay so that last one with the box was actually 298 yen but you get the idea. Very close to that shop is another one I like to go to, or I used to until they made some kind of change and now think they are a game shop rather than a simple recycle shop. I used to go into this place and get systems and games for less than 500 yen now I just hope to find something that is reasonably priced, which sadly it often isn't. Anyway back to what happened, basically I saw a game I wanted it was in really nice condition, you know good label very nice gray cart, and I bought it. I was torn because of price, 1600 yen ($16) but just bought it anyway and let the self loathing start.
Sengoku Ninja-Kun: Ashura no Shou
Finally, yesterday I was heading back home and figured I would try one of my favorite shops and was able to find these two guys:
Kaseki Sousei Reborn
Kirby no Block Ball
The first game was a little high for me at 500 yen but it was the first time I had seen it in the wild, so I went for it. Kirby Block Ball was a easy yes at 108 yen.
Again sorry for the whole no picture thing in the future I will not make that mistake. Also you should note that this is not a typical post in relation to how many games are listed here, most of the time it will likely be just one or two games at a time but this time it just worked out that I found a bunch of new stuff.
Anyway till next time, keep hunting!
